Benbow Environmental prepared an air impact assessment for the development application for a mobile asphalt plant to be based in Nowra. The proposal included delivery and storage of raw materials and recycled asphalt on site, as well as the manufacturing process performed on a modified large mobile vehicle.

An existing poultry farm located in Kulnura NSW, commissioned Benbow Environmental to prepare a dust and odour impact assessment to support the development application to expand their current facilities. The assessments were conducted in accordance with “Approved Methods” guidelines prepared by NSW EPA.

Benbow Environmental has recently been involved in the preparation of detailed assessments for the development of a concrete batching plant in Rosehill. The proposed concrete batching plant has an expected annual production capacity of 150,000 cubic metres of cement per year.

Benbow Environmental has recently prepared an Odour Impact Assessment for the proposed waste treatment facility to be located at Pendle Hill, NSW. The facility was designed to accommodate solid and liquid wastes up to 500 tonnes per week, which is equivalent to 26,000 tonnes per year.

Benbow Environmental was commissioned to conduct an occupational hygiene test for fumes and dust for an industrial manufacturing facility producing a wide range of civil products. The purpose of this test was to assist in determining whether there any issues in relation to harmful fumes and particulates from the manufacturing processes.
